After high school, Mo went on to Hennepin Community College, also in Minnesota, and graduated with an associates degree in Social Work.

In 2011 she signed with Alaric entertainment and recorded her first song with the label, “Da-Ay-Deh”. The song received great reviews and set a trail for the crossover sound of this female rapper in America to become popular in Liberia.

Pretty Mo continues to write songs and build her music career. In December of 2019 she signed to LB Records an independent label.
